Looking for people who want to help us prepare for events - big and small!
Our event operations associate helps our team prepare for events and reset following events. This may include anything from reviewing event plans, performing site visits, getting our venues ready for the next event, creating our signature displays, setting up photo shoots, preparing for client tastings, and working on initatives to improve our operations functions. It's a robust development role that is meant to grow the right person into an Event Operations Lead and prepare you for a career in event operations.
This is a part-time role that often pairs with other front of house roles (driver, server, captain, venue site rep) to create a more robust schedule and experience across a wide range of event work.
Why work event ops at Not Hungry ?
We are thoughtful and process/ detail-focused with a warm approach to our clients. We are highly process driven and thematic, so you're unlikely to run into the dysfunction and chaos that you see at other companies. Instead, you'll be expected to take on a "lean" mindset where we write down our process, structure and solve problems, and find creative ways to get to the right answer. For those interested in ops as a career, you get to work with a former high end strategy consultant who has deployed industry-leading operations improvements at the Fortune 500 level (with very large results).
This position is part-time but complements other part-time event roles well and can be used to fill out a schedule during the day (and get priority access to event work).
