We had a client put together a lovely seasonal mix
of bites and a dinner buffet for a day with family
and friends on the 4th in Malibu.
This all day retreat felt like an oasis for the
guests of this executive offsite! Hosted at a home
in Malibu, these guests enjoyed breakfast, lunch,
snacks, and a plated dinner with the Not Hungry Team.
Guests felt spoiled over looking this beautiful
view of the Malibu mountains and hints of the
Pacific, all while getting fueling up with
delicious food!
Lunch at a sales event can be a challenging
proposition. It's a balance of ensuring that
people are cared for while also making sure that
the food is attractive and holds up until the
right spot in the conversation.
We had the pleasure of putting together a
sunflower themed staff uniform and menu for a film
premiere of Little Women at Harmony Gold.
We had a client host an outdoor dinner to
celebrate the amazing women involved with their
company. Set in a backyard in a home in Bel Air,
it was the quintessential beautiful summer evening
in a gorgeous spot.
Our approach was to provide a dinner display that
enabled a wide range of selections that were easy
and nourishing to eat. The display itself
reflected the garden space: open, full of color,
lots of accents.
Triunfo Creek Vineyard offered a beautiful setting for this picturesque baby shower! The lush background following spring rains made for a wonderful setting to a special day.
We had a client who was hosting a product showcase
for their high end clientele in Manhattan Beach's
Trina Turk store and wanted a brunch setup for
them to munch on while they were participating.
In designing the menu, we put together beautiful
options that would be a fit with the client and
Trina Turk look as well as being able to hold on
the floor for the 2 hour event. Everyone was
thrilled and…
We created a beautiful plated menu for an intimate
group of university alumni members. This was held
at a professors home and consisted of 3 courses
ending with a delicate dessert trio and filled
with delicious cocktails!
Early in 2014 our client, Craig, called us eager
to plan an incredible party to celebrate his
parents' 50 years of marriage, but not quite
knowing where to start. He wanted a classic
American BBQ with a Southern twist while
maintaining the elegance the occasion required.
The event began by the pool where guests, many of
them original wedding guests, enjoyed some of the
family's favorite signature cocktails ("Pink
Lemonade", Whiskey Sour, Gin Fizz, Margarita…
We love themed menus at Not Hungry . We got a chance to do a summer camp themed menu and had a lot of fun with rustic elements and nostalgia brought into a beautiful format.
Not Hungry recently had the unique opportunity to cater
for the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s 20th
Anniversary fundraiser, hosted by
Alliance for the Arts. As the official nonprofit fundraising arm of
the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, a venue for
which we have preferred status, Alliance for the
Arts is dedicated to raising funds to support
visual and performing arts and education. We were
excited and honored to help support such an
amazing cause!…
At the end of September, Not Hungry Catering helped
TreePeople host their annual fundraising gala, “An
Evening Under the Harvest Moon” on their Coldwater
Canyon campus in Beverly Hills. 450
environmentally conscious individuals came
together to celebrate TreePeople’s accomplishments
and launch some new initiatives. . TreePeople is
an environmental nonprofit that unites the power
of trees, people and nature-based solutions to
grow a sustainable future for North Hollywood. Their
mission is to inspire, engage, and support…
There's nothing quite as intimate as a private
home wedding. We recently catered a 50 person
wedding in the backyard of a beautiful home in
Malibu Canyon. To say that this wedding was
fabulous would be an understatement! While the
mother of the bride handled the lighting as well
as the delicate pink and creme floral
arrangements, Not Hungry handled the rentals and
catering needs for all 50 guests.
For this wedding, we arranged…
Not Hungry Catering recently had the privilege to cater
a fall fundraiser for Ride On at Ventura Farms.
Ride On is an organization based out of Newberry

physical and cognitive disabilities. Ride On

Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays! The
costumes, the decorations, the spooky spirits,
and, of course, the food! I love the idea of going
all out and creating some delicious and frightful
treats for guests at parties! Last year, we really
had a lot of fun for one of our events where we
created "spooky" bites that not only looked fun
but also packed a lot of flavor. We created an
assortment of…
Here at Not Hungry Catering, we believe it is
important to build close relationships with
corporate clients. We understand that each company
has their own unique catering needs, and it is up
to us to show that we can provide the right
service as well as delicious food! Part of
understanding how to do this is to understand the
specific catering needs of the client, including
their building/ facilities, their employee needs/
wants, their goals…
Our client, a loving wife and animal lover, hosted
a fantastic birthday dinner celebration for her
husband on Saturday, September 6th. The event was
held on their beautiful property in Agoura Hills,
CA where the host also runs a dog and animal
rescue. Per the client’s request, we designed the
event to have a fun and relaxed feel where the
guests could enjoy themselves, the event, and the
beautiful setting. Throughout the event, singer
and…
As summer 2014 comes to a close, we all know it's
the most favorite time for the youngins...BACK TO
SCHOOL! For this week's Throwback Thursday we're
featuring an event we did for Arcade that was
inspired by the theme of back to school. We were
really inspired by school supplies, which we
incorporated into the food station - everything
from globes and lined writing paper to apples and
books! For the menu we aimed to…
Today's feature is a special flashback Friday to a
client who is extremely near and dear to the Not Hungry
team. We have had the pleasure to cater many
special events for this client and catering her
birthday party was no different. We're always so
excited to cater birthday parties because we know
how special and person this day is for the client
- their trust and preference for us is extremely
rewarding and we always…
One of our long-time corporate clients recently
hosted an executive dinner to celebrate a company
merging. The event was hosted on our client's
beautiful campus located in Calabasas, CA. Having
catered here before, we were extremely familiar
and efficient in the space to ensure set up went
smoothly and on time. One of our biggest goals for
any space we work in is to make sure we go in with
the know-how and forethought to…
Towards the end of last year, we had the sincere
pleasure of catering the wedding of our clients Ed
and Jeff at their home in Woodland Hills. It was
an intimate and beautiful fall-themed wedding with
seasonal decor and a menu to match. The setting
was defined by rustic elements such as dark brown
wooden chairs, crates for the desert displays, and
autumn wildflowers for the centerpieces. Orange,
yellow, and brown took center stage as…
It's sometimes hard to believe, but it's already
been two years since we catered this beautiful
bridal shower tea party in Santa Monica. The
event's host, Wendy, has been a long time loyal
Not Hungry Catering client and as always it was
wonderful to work with her and be a part of the
special day. The intimate event space proved to be
the perfect location for the 13-guest tea party. A
tea party is a wonderful…
Last year, we had the pleasure of catering the
Hall of Games Awards event for Cartoon Network.
The event was hosted at a wonderful venue called
Hangar 8 in Santa Monica. As you can tell from the
fun pictures, the theme of the event was sports
and boy did we have fun with that in our stations
and menus! We aimed to design a menu that was a
great fit for both kids and…
A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of
catering and producing a company anniversary party
for one of our real estate firm clients. The firm
was celebrating their 20th anniversary and the
opening of 100 stores - a big accomplishment for
sure! We wanted to make sure the client really
enjoyed the party and company employees
experienced a truly remarkable event with amazing
food. We transformed the company's parking lot in
Santa Monica…
We love an intimate home wedding - especially one
with spectacular views!!.
For the menu, I wanted to create something elegant
yet not too over the top to radiate the look and
feel of what our clients were aiming for with…
